In your professional life as you begin a new school year, you will face new students, new curriculum, perhaps a new grade or even a new school. A new school year also offers opportunities to consider new rhythms in your personal life. How will you stay healthy physically? What rhythms can you maintain or add to invest in your spiritual health and further develop your relationship with Christ? What are one or two simple things you can do to create balance and keep the main things, the main things? In what ways will you be intentionally mindful when things get stressful? What brings you joy? A sense of calm? What things add peace to your plate? Our hope is that as you intentionally invest in yourself, your improved mental, physical, and spiritual wellness will contribute to a healthy, effective, and balanced work life.
